The Center for Asian Studies is pleased to announce the upcoming event:

The Crane Wife is a puppet theatre performance based on the Japanese folk tale of the same name.Ā Ā The show features puppets, actors, shadow theatre, masks, movement, and live music.Ā Ā Inspired by Japanese culture and aesthetic as well as Japanese theatre forms such as Bunraku, Kabuki and Noh, the show creates an enchanting atmosphere to take the audience on a mystical journey. Free admission.

There will be two performances:Ā Friday, September 14 at 7 PMĀ andĀ Saturday, September 15 at 3 PM. Both performances will take place at theĀ , on CU-Boulder campus.
