It includes asynchronous coursework on Canvas and readings to support bi-weekly synchronous group discussions, each lasting 1.5 hours. Meetings alternate between in-person and virtual each month. Participants are expected to commit at least 40 hours throughout the semester. The Capstone Project allows participants to create a concrete action plan for implementing equity-minded teaching practices within their discipline. While executing the plan in future semesters is encouraged, it is not required to earn the badge.
