The National Water Research Institute (NWRI) of Fountain Valley, CA, is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 Graduate Fellowship Program. Fellowships awards provide funding to support master's or doctoral graduate research related to:
- Water science and technology.
- Water resources.
- Water policy.
听
Research must pertain to NWRI's mission statement, which is to create new sources of water through research and technology and to protect the freshwater and marine environments.
听
Research areas include, but are not limited to:听 Engineering, physical and chemical sciences, biological sciences, health sciences, political sciences, economics, and planning/public policy issues that are related to water resources. A student need not be a U.S. citizen to receive a fellowship from NWRI, but the student must be enrolled full time at a U.S. college or university, and most of the research must be conducted in the U.S. Post-doctoral researchers are not eligible to receive a fellowship from NWRI.
All application documents must be converted to a PDF and emailed to the NWRI Fellowship Coordinator at听fellow@nwri-usa.org听before 11:59 PM (Pacific time) on Sunday, March 1, 2016.
