Wellness for Leaders

Why

To develop into the best possible leader during your time at CU Boulder, an undergraduate PLC student must attend to emotional, mental, and physical wellness. TLC for PLC and The Outdoor Experience are teams promoting mental and physical health to build awareness and opportunity for PLC students to build their leadership ability from a foundation of personal wellness.

How

The wellness teams encourage engagement in wellness activities and with the mulititude of resources on campus and in the greater Boulder community.

What

TLC for PLC and The Outdoor Experience teams host wellness focused opportunities, execute mini wellness lessons in PLC lecture, and provide resources for all students on the website and the weekly newsletter.

Dr. Thompson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is highly recommended by PLC to provide mental health services to current students. You can read her bio .

The TLC for PLC team members are not licensed professional counselors and do not have the jurisdiction to provide long-term care or diagnosis. If you are in a position where you need support, we encourage you to reach out to Dr. Thompson, or another licensed mental health practitioner and start your journey to better health.
