- Show love and support for a friend, loved one or mentor by making a card and celebrating International Women's Day—from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Dennis Small Cultural Center. The event is free and open to all students, faculty and staff.
- Mark your calendar for the climate (March 8), female founders (March 9) and cross-campus (March 14) prize nights of this season's New Venture Challenge. The NVC is a CU Boulder program and competition giving aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to build a startup through outstanding support and mentorship.
- Are you responsible for hosting a recognition ceremony on campus? Join the in-person open house, where representatives from various campus organizations, as well as off-campus vendors, will be on hand to share helpful planning info. Register by Feb. 24.
- A new full-dome film premiering at the Fiske Planetarium Feb. 18 will take viewers to the moon and back, introducing NASA’s newest efforts to establish a long-term human presence on the lunar surface.
- As the spring semester continues, graduate students are encouraged to take advantage of two ongoing health and wellness events: Ask an Advocate and Supporting Student Resiliency.
- The Center for the Study of the Prevention of Violence, Naropa University and the city of Boulder invite the community to create a ripple of hope, love and care that reminds us why it is good to be alive, to be human, to be here now.Â
- Join cyclists around the world braving the elements and riding to work. The Environmental Center will be handing out breakfast burritos, gluten-free vegan cookies and some fun bike program swag.
- Open to all, Staff Council's next blood drive is taking place at two locations, one on Main Campus and one on East Campus. Appointments are encouraged but not required. Explore making a difference in this way!
- T9Hacks kicks off this year with an in-person event. The seventh-annual hackathon promotes interest in creative technologies, coding, design and making among college women, nonbinary individuals and other groups that are underrepresented in technical fields.
- Spring sessions of Coffee and the Campus Budget are scheduled for March 3, March 29 and April 12. Learn about the overall budget, as well as the budget model redesign project. A recording of the fall 2021 presentation is available, too.
