Travel to Ghana this summer with the VRC!
This service-learning program is an opportunity to work alongside local communities, learn from their experiences, and contribute to ongoing initiatives. Together, we’ll support projects that address community-identified needs, focusing on areas like education, infrastructure, and community development.
The trip is designed to foster mutual understanding and partnership. Participants will engage in hands-on activities while gaining insight into the local culture. If you’re interested in learning, building connections, and being part of a collective effort, we invite you to join us.

June 9-23, 2025
Details:
The group will stay at a volunteer home near the service site. Meals, lodging, and travel arrangements will be provided. Participants must have a valid passport in hand at the time of application. Participants will need to apply for a Ghana visa shortly after selection. Entry to Ghana requires a yellow fever vaccination.
2025 Summer Break Information:
- Application opens March 17
- Application closes April 4
- Interviews from April 7-11
- Participant notification by April 14
