The is a four-year, annually-renewable award that can be used at any two or four-year, nonprofit, accredited college or university in the United States.
The Daniels Scholarship was first awarded in the year 2000, with the passing of Bill Daniels, founder of the Daniels Fund. Awardees are chosen from the 4-state region of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. Daniels Scholars have been attending CU since 2000. The Daniels Scholar Success Program (DSSP) started at CU in 2008.
At the University of Colorado, Boulder, the Daniels Scholars are housed in and supported by Undergraduate Enrichment Programs or UEP. The UEP office has scholars’ full human development in mind with mentoring, academic, professional and social/cultural events, and plenty of support for your health and well-being.Ìý
