Palestinian Social Movements in Health: Sumud Throughthe Provision of Healthcare

November 13, 2024

Part of the Israel/Palestine Series, this talk by Dr. Weeam Hammoudah focused on the social mobilization around healthcare that began in Palestine in the late 1970s and 80s within the infrastructure ofSumud(steadfastness) and grew into the establishment of a Palestinian led primary healthcare system under Israeli occupation.
